Indian Healthcare Technology Forum (IHTF), formerly Indian Healthcare IT, was initiated in 2009 as a small LinkedIn group—a project with the aim of bringing like-minded individuals with a vision for healthcare enhancement with the help of technology. From its humble start, it has evolved into one of the most vibrant communities of India, with healthcare innovators, industry leaders, researchers, and digital health enthusiasts from across the country.
Our Possibility
With a population of over 1.4 billion and diverse healthcare needs, India calls for scalable, effective, and affordable solutions. Technology, if harnessed at its best, is the answer that can bridge the gaps. From telemedicine that brings rural patients into contact with specialists from urban centers, to AI-driven diagnostics and data analysis that achieve maximum clinical outcomes, the possibilities are immense. As a point of illustration, a 2023 report suggests that India’s digital health market is likely to reach $11.7 billion by 2025, demonstrating the significance of innovation in shaping the future.
Our Goal
IHTF is at the vanguard of this change. Our goal is to bring the latest technologies into the healthcare system of India at a faster pace by creating conversation, cooperation, and learning from each other.
IHTF has also, throughout the years, played a critical role in bridging the healthcare talent gap by connecting talented individuals with fresh opportunities and organizations.
